Desir Donates 20,000 Meals to Area Foodbank in Response to Coronavirus Crisis
Lindenwood University alumnus Pierre Desir is again in the news for his philanthropic efforts. The NFL defensive back recently donated 20,000 meals to area food banks for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lindenwood Employees to Work From Home Starting March 23
As of Monday, March 23, all Lindenwood University faculty and staff will be working from home and all on-campus offices will be closed to the public and university employees. Lindenwood personnel and offices will be available for business by telephone and email to provide continuity in university operations and student support services.
Lindenwood to Extend Virtual Classes through Spring Semester
Lindenwood University announced March 16 that it will offer classes solely in a virtual format through the duration of the spring semester due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The move was announced in an email to students, faculty, staff, and parents from Lindenwood President John Porter.
Lindenwood University Switching to Virtual Classes until March 30
In light of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, Lindenwood University has determined it will switch entirely to virtual classes from March 13 to 29 for all class sessions at all locations. Residential students, who are on spring break through March 15, are strongly encouraged not to return to campus if possible.

Student Brittney Huck to Receive Richard S. and Nelle Dabney Award
Lindenwood University special education major Brittney Huck will receive the Missouri Council for Exceptional Children Dabney Award on March 5 in Columbia, Mo. Huck is the eighth Lindenwood recipient of the award in the past 20 years.

An article in Yahoo Finance indicates Lindenwood University's MBA was ranked by OnlineCollegePlan eighth best in the country for small business. Of the 30 schools ranked, Lindenwood is the only one from Missouri.
