Jeff Smith, professor of history at Lindenwood, published a chapter titled “Till Death Keeps Us Apart: Segregated Cemeteries and Social Values in St. Louis, Missouri” in a scholarly volume Till Death Do Us Part: American Ethnic Cemeteries as Borders Uncrossed (Jackson: University Press of Mississippi, 2020).

The Hammond Institute has expanded its coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic to include daily analysis of trends in Missouri, the St. Louis metro area, and St. Charles County. In addition, the institute's website includes a collection of up-to-date analysis and commentary of its own and from external sources.

Lindenwood’s advertising and strategic communications students recently received a special Judge’s Citation Award: Bright Idea for the creative idea of a "reverse trade show" at the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC). In addition, Instructor of Advertising and Public Relations Patrick Longo was named Advisor of the Year for his dedication to the competition and his team.
